On behalf of all the Christian warriors in God’s mighty army, I want to welcome you and invite you to become a member of our “Fight Club.”  If you choose to become a member, you won’t be asked to fight in any kind of physical battle.  Instead, the war we wage is a spiritual one.  Ephesians 6:12 tells us, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”  Furthermore, 2 Corinthians 10:3 notes, “For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh.”  Our Battle is against Sin, Death, and the Devil.  Thankfully, we have a General, Jesus our King, who has gone before us into battle and already won the war on our behalf.  In Christ, we share in the victory!  Nevertheless, despite knowing the final outcome of the war between good and evil, the Devil and all his evil agents are still causing havoc and attacking the human race in order to capture as many as possible and bring them into the darkness.  Until we pass from this world into the next, we are all in danger of being assaulted by the evil one.  “Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." (1 Peter 5:8)
